About the team at Bali Sail Adventures

Steve Lucy Bali Sail Adventures is owned and operated by Steve Botha and Lucy Mitchell, a couple from South Africa and Australia who live full-time in Bali with their family. Steve and Lucy have worked in Indonesia for more than 15 years; both love the country and love sharing their extensive knowledge of its people, places and languages with others.

They love sailing and are both passionate about the natural and social environment (Steve is also a qualified Environmental Engineer and Lucy has a doctorate degree in Social Development). Pak Made leads Bali Sail Adventures’ small crew, and has a wealth of local experience as well as Indonesian national skipper qualifications.
